Celebrate Recovery

Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a biblically-based, recovery program that addresses our Hurts, Hang-ups, and Habits using a 12-step approach based on the Beatitudes from the book of Matthew. CR leaders, understand your struggles, as they have experienced freedom from addictive and dysfunctional patterns in their own lives.  They have been trained to guide people through the 12 Steps/8 Principles, and to provide a safe environment for accountability and building authentic relationships.

Do you have a hurt, hang-up or habit?
Ask yourself these questions:

  • Do you believe, or want to believe in God, yet can’t seem to?
  • Do you want to trust God with your whole life, yet live in fear?
  • Is serenity only an ideal; seldom experienced?
  • Does life feel overwhelming?
  • Are your relationships clouded by conflict and confusion?
  • Do you have resentments, anger, fear or loneliness?
  • Do you have persistent feelings of low self-worth, shame, guilt?
  • Do you have recurring pain about relationships and life in general?
  • Have you tried to change your behaviors without success?
  • Have you tried to change the behaviors of people around you?
  • Do those you try to “help” not cooperate?
  • Do you feel angry or hurt, asking, ”Why do they resent me”?
  • Do your prayers for God’s help feel unanswered?
  • Have you kept your secret pain secret?
  • Are you realizing you don’t have the needed power?
  • Are you lacking spiritual resources to overcome the pain?
  • Do you have a difficulty and want to change?

If your answer is yes to any of these quections, contact us and get involved.

Wiser With Age

Impact N.O.W. Foundation recognizes the negative impact of different social factors in the lives of seniors who are retired and are alone in Isolation from usual activities, lack of contact with family members and other important people and difficulty accomplishing normal activities of daily life such as shopping, and attending appointments have all created higher levels of stress, and greater occurrences of depression and anxiety in this group.

All of these factors have a negative impact on their physical health, mental health, and their relationships. We would like to address this by continuing the weekly group for 15 seniors who attend this program and join in socialization and different activity. The ultimate goal is for socialization and age-appropriate activity to create a community of seniors that will benefit from this and develop relationships from the group that will last beyond the length of this project.

The group will be held once a week for 3 to 4 hours. A weekly schedule will be created that incorporates gentle exercises, games, crafts and lunch. Once a month a presentation will be held by a professional in different field. Praise and worship will also be incorporate beside dancing and singing. The other arm of this program is to create and train a group of young adult volunteers who will maintain regular contact with the seniors.

The program, called Wiser with Age is intended to develop relationships between young adult volunteers and the seniors. The volunteers will have regular phone and in-person contact to ensure that the senior has emotional and practical support.

Nepal Shalom House

Extending our impact on a global scale

Shalom House works to provide sponsorships to underprivileged girls from the poorest of the poor Nepalese communities and focuses on overcoming barriers so that young women can advance to a post secondary education.

Who we're helping

Young women from impoverished areas are at risk of being sex trafficked, with the Nepali- Indian border being one of the busiest trafficking routes in the world. The risk factors for being trafficked are poverty, limited economic opportunities, low education, and low socioeconomic and cultural status.

How we're helping

Shalom House empower 3 young women every year to advance to a university nursing degree to improve their self-confidence, skills and resources to become leaders; thereby increasing the number of female role models, mentors, and leaders across the local and global communities.

Meals on Wheel

Making a difference, one meal at a time.

Meals On Wheels provides tasty and nutritious meals donated by a local Richmond business to seniors who are living alone and under privileged residents of Richmond.
The meals are delivered weekly. Meals provide important physical nourishment but they are also a way for us to connect with valued members of our community to ensure their emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

Leadership Devlopment

"Leadership isn't about titles or positions—it's about influence, service, and the courage to step into God's calling on your life. Whether you're leading in your workplace, church, community, or family, we'll help you discover and develop the leader God created you to be."

"More Than Skills Training—A Journey of Transformation"

True leadership flows from character, not charisma. From calling, not credentials. Our 12-month leadership development program combines:

  • Biblical Foundation: Leadership principles rooted in Scripture and modeled by Christ
  • Character Formation: Developing integrity, humility, and spiritual maturity
  • Practical Skills: Communication, decision-making, conflict resolution, and team building
  • Mentorship: One-on-one guidance from experienced faith-based leaders
  • Community Impact: Real-world application through service projects and ministry opportunities
